Metered taxis and tuk-tuks are also available, and it is best to note that bargaining from Kata Beach is not easy as most prices are set in stone.

Kata Beach is the home beach of Kata Ocean View Residences. Although the residences are nestled into the hillside, Kata Beach is only 1.5KM away. A free shuttle service is provided daily to and from Kata Beach for all of the Kata Ocean View Residences guests.
